Board Meeting Information

The Porter County Soil & Water Conservation District convenes monthly board meetings throughout the year with the exception of the months  of May and October. All of the board meetings are open to the public. If you would like to be added to an e-mail notification list, please e-mail michelle.benson@in.nacdnet.net or call the Porter County SWCD office at 219-462-7515 ext. 3. 

Per Indiana Code 14-32 three  SWCD board members are elected at the Porter County SWCD annual meeting convened in the first quarter of each year. The meeting is open to the public. The remaining two members are appointed by the Indiana State Soil Board.
